What You support
Every service offered at Kindness Corner Farm is rooted in science, empathy, and compassion. All fees are supporting the Farm's ability to provide quality services with well cared for animal partners. Your support allows for our clinical work to be filled with passion and connection. See below for service breakdowns.
We offer a free 10-15 minute phone consultation to allow you to speak with a clinician before you decide to come in for an intake appointment. A phone consultation allows for an initial introduction, a clinician to ask questions about what you are looking for out of therapy work, and ultimately for you to decide if Kindness Corner Farm could be a good fit in helping you reach your goals.
The intake session is the opportunity for you to meet with a clinician for the first time in person, to share some of your story, and learn more about how Kindness Corner Farm could support you in your therapeutic goals. We want you to get the most out of your time so we allow for you to complete any paperwork ahead of time making sure we can focus on relationship building and interaction rather than paperwork. Intake sessions are 60 minutes.
If you are looking for individual psychotherapy sessions, this will be your primary service. Individual sessions are focused completely on your unique treatment goals and incorporate any intervention you and your clinician decide upon including Animal Assisted Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skill building, Mindfulness, Creative Expression, etc. Click here for our full list of what we provide. Individual sessions are 50 minutes.
Family sessions are powerful interventions allowing for relationships to form, strengthen, or repair. Participants can include one or two parents with or without the children based on clinical recommendation and topic matter. Intervention will be crafted for each family and session and may include Animal Assisted Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skill building, Mindfulness, Creative Expression, in addition to the model of Family Systems Theory. Family sessions are 60 minutes.
Group sessions offer interpersonal support and community development through a safe space model. Participants are able to learn from one another while interacting with other group members and the group facilitator, who is a licensed clinician. Group interventions will vary as well as price, see specific group info here.
